HOW TO KNOW YOUR TARGET MUSKETEER
Crystallizing your target customer and their unique pain points is critical to defining an effective strategy for selling to them. As Zig Ziglar said, “How can you hit a target you don’t even have?”
The best way to know your target musketeer is to research them. There are a few ways to do this:
1. Ask questions:
If you know someone who has worked with or knows your target musketeer, ask them questions about their experiences. Ask questions such as: What did they bring to the table? What could they have done better? What did they struggle with?
2. Research their background:
Look up the musketeer’s profile, LinkedIn page, and other social media profiles to gain an understanding of their skills and experience.
3. Track their progress:
Follow the musketeer’s progress over time by reading their blog, watching their videos, and following their tweets.
4. Reach out to them:
Contact the musketeer directly and start a conversation with them. Ask them questions about their experience and goals, and see if you can help them reach their goals.
5. Observe their behavior:
Observe how the musketeer interacts with others, how they handle different situations, and how they talk about their work. This will give you a better idea of who they are and how they think.
By doing all of these things, you will gain a better understanding of your target musketeer and be able to work with them more effectively.
